Where Legacy Meets Craftsmanship
El Mago Cigars is a boutique brand built on heart, history, and heritage. Founded by Nicolas Fusco, the brand was created to honor his grandparents, Maria and Gonzalo Torre, whose initials form the name MAGO. After losing them in the tragic Champlain Towers collapse, Nicolas turned to cigars a family tradition as a way to preserve their legacy and share their story.
Handcrafted with carefully aged tobacco and rolled in the Cuban tradition, El Mago blends are designed to elevate everyday moments and create new memories worth holding onto.

Weekly Interesting Cigar Facts
Cigar Boxes Were the Original Lunchboxes
Before metal and plastic lunchboxes became common, many workers—especially in the early 1900s used empty cigar boxes to pack their lunch!
Why? Because cigar boxes, especially the wooden ones, were sturdy, portable, and widely available. Factories, shops, and cigar lounges often had piles of empty boxes lying around, and rather than toss them, people gave them a second life.
Some folks even got creative lining them with cloth, painting them, or adding compartments. Over time, the cigar box became a symbol of working-class ingenuity and resourcefulness, long before Tupperware took over.
Even today, cigar boxes are repurposed into everything from guitar bodies to jewelry holders, proving that the box is almost as iconic as the cigar inside.
🔥 Got a cool use for an old cigar box? Snap a pic and share it we’d love to feature it!
