Did you know that some premium cigars are aged for up to 10 years or more before they ever hit the shelf?

After fermentation, select tobaccos are aged in cedar-lined aging rooms, where they continue to develop deeper flavor, smoother character, and refined aroma similar to how a fine whiskey matures in a barrel.

All the leaves were grown in the fertile Honduran regions of Olancho, the Jamastran Valley, and Talanga, acquiring a deep, well-fermented character while aging since being harvested in 2014. Plasencia Cosecha 149 is a full-bodied, medium- to full-strength cigar balanced by distinct notes of cream, dark chocolate, and a subtle yet earthy hint of cedar.

This release stands among CAO’s most impressive offerings. Produced in a strictly limited run of just 6,000 boxes for the U.S. market, it reflects the brand’s long-standing commitment to quality and craftsmanship. The blend showcases carefully matured, premium tobaccos and is presented in striking hand-painted, individually numbered boxes. Each cigar is wrapped in cedar to preserve freshness and aroma. It features an Ecuadorian Connecticut-shade wrapper, a Nicaraguan Habano-seed binder, and a rich filler blend sourced from Nicaragua, Honduras, and Mexico.

Room101’s Hit & Run is back with a brand new invention. Now in its third release, Matt Booth went back to the drawing board and created a new blend with his old factory. Hit & Run uses filler tobaccos from Nicaragua and Pennsylvania, an Ecuadorian Sumatra binder, and a Mexican San Andres wrapper. “I’m thrilled to bring another Room101 sub-brand back to life with this expression of Hit & Run,” said Booth in a press release.
